A Tropical Themed Holiday Party in DC

White Fox Floral Design brought a vibrant, transportive energy to a tropical-themed holiday party for the National Association of Broadcasters, hosted at 1 M Street in Navy Yard. Designed to feel like a warm escape in the midst of the winter season, this event embraced bold color, lush textures, and playful, elevated design.

Guests were welcomed by a statement cascading arrangement that set the tone from the moment they arrived. Overflowing with layered tropical foliage and vibrant blooms, the installation created an immersive first impression—striking yet refined, and perfectly aligned with the festive spirit of the evening.

Inside the space, centerpieces carried the design forward with a mix of rich color and dynamic movement. We incorporated tropical elements such as anthurium, orchids, and lush greenery, balanced with thoughtful composition to maintain an elevated, polished feel. Each arrangement was designed to feel abundant without overwhelming the table, allowing the florals to enhance the atmosphere while keeping the space functional for guests.

Cocktail tables were accented with curated clusters of bud vases, adding moments of detail and continuity throughout the room. These smaller-scale designs introduced pops of color and texture, creating a cohesive floral story that tied every element together.
