Who We Are
Welcome to White Fox Floral Design, a wedding and event floral studio based in Alexandria, VA. We work with couples throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Richmond, and beyond to create florals that feel deeply personal, beautiful, and entirely unique.
From romantic bridal bouquets and ceremony installations to lush reception tablescapes and statement designs, we believe wedding flowers should complement your venue and tell your story. We work with seasonal blooms, intentional color palettes, and impeccable detail to create designs that feel effortless, artful, and memorable.
As your floral partner, we’re here for more than just the flowers. We listen, collaborate, guide you through the process, and bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every celebration. Meet McKenzie
Founder, Lead Designer
It’s so lovely to meet you. I’m McKenzie, the founder and creative behind White Fox Floral Design.
White Fox began as a way for me to reconnect with the truest, most intentional parts of myself and it has grown into a place where I get to help couples celebrate some of life’s most meaningful moments. I’m a romantic at heart, and I believe there is something beautiful in paying attention to the little things. That sense of care, intention, and wonder is woven into every design I create.
I work closely with each couple from our first conversation through wedding day production, bringing your vision to life with a thoughtful eye and a steady hand. My goal is to create wedding flowers that feel like you. Not simply beautiful for the sake of beauty, but personal, cohesive, and full of meaning. Throughout the process, I’m your florist, sounding board, collaborator, and biggest cheerleader.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a good book, baking bread with my husband, or slowly (and somewhat optimistically) building our family garden. Home is where my heart is, and my greatest loves include my mini poodle, Ducky, and our newly acquired runner ducks: Opal, Onyx, Beans, and Janet Quackson.
Meet Idalis
Event Manager, Junior Designer
Meet Idalis, our Event Manager & Junior Designer. Down-to-earth, calm under pressure, and well versed in large-scale event production, Idalis is the kind of person you want by your side when the wedding day gets busy.
On-site, Idalis leads by expertly balancing logistics and design, ensuring every detail is executed beautifully.
When she's not at White Fox, you can find her cheffing it up in the kitchen with a Disney movie playing in the background, chatting with her siblings, jamming to Bruno Mars, potty training her cats Sadie and Dakota (yes, really), or planning her next travel adventure with her husband. We’re so lucky to have her on the White Fox team!
Meet Savannah
Event Manager
Savannah serves as an Event Manager, bringing a calm, grounded presence to every celebration we create. Deeply rooted in poetry, art, and nature, she has a thoughtful eye and steady energy that keeps our events feeling seamless from start to finish.
On-site, Savannah leads logistics and production with grace, making sure every detail is executed beautifully and every moment stays calm, even behind the scenes.
When she’s not at White Fox, you’ll likely find her at a pottery wheel, flowing through a yoga class, or spoiling her two cats, Suki and Rhea.
