Tiffany & Tim | A Sculptural Green & White Wedding at District Winery
Set against the waterfront views of Washington, DC, Tiffany & Tim's wedding at District Winery embraced timeless elegance with a fresh, sculptural approach to floral design. Their palette of green and white was softened with earthy tones and warm ivory, creating an atmosphere that felt both classic and contemporary.
The day began with portraits around the National Mall, where the city's iconic architecture provided a refined backdrop before guests gathered at District Winery for an elevated ceremony.
Inspired by natural movement and modern form, the floral designs featured lush seasonal blooms and layered greenery arranged with an airy, sculptural feel. Clean whites paired with rich greens created striking contrast, while subtle earth-toned accents brought warmth and depth throughout the celebration.
For the ceremony, pillars and overflowing urn arrangements set the tone, creating a statement without competing with the venue's natural light.
As guests transitioned into cocktail hour, delicate bud vase arrangements carried the floral story throughout the space before leading into the reception.
The reception balanced abundant florals with thoughtful candlelight to create an inviting atmosphere. The head table was anchored by cascading waterfall arrangements that flowed effortlessly across the ends of the table, while lush compote centerpieces added fullness and texture to guest tables.
A curated mix of taper and pillar candles completed the design, bringing warmth and romance to the modern winery setting long after sunset.
Tiffany & Tim's wedding was a beautiful example of how a restrained color palette can make a powerful statement. By combining timeless white florals with layered greens, sculptural design, and soft earth-inspired accents, the celebration felt elegant, organic, and perfectly at home in one of Washington, DC's most iconic waterfront wedding venues.
