Anne & Jake | A Classic Blue & White Wedding at Stonewall Golf Club

Some weddings never go out of style. Anne and Jake's May celebration embraced timeless tradition while incorporating fresh, modern details that felt effortlessly elegant from beginning to end.

The day began with a traditional Catholic ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington, Virginia, where family and friends gathered beneath the cathedral's soaring architecture to witness the couple exchange vows. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Stonewall Country Club in Gainesville, Virginia, for an evening of celebration overlooking the rolling golf course.

Our floral design centered around a refined palette of blue and white, creating an atmosphere that was both classic and inviting. Lush white peonies, garden roses, hydrangea, and seasonal blooms were layered with delicate textural elements to add depth and movement throughout the designs. The result was a collection that felt romantic without being overly formal—perfectly balancing tradition with modern charm.

The reception featured elegant floral centerpieces that complemented the timeless architecture of Stonewall Country Club while allowing the beautiful spring setting to shine. Crisp whites paired with soft blue accents created a fresh, sophisticated aesthetic that carried seamlessly from ceremony to reception.

Anne's bouquet reflected the same understated elegance, showcasing luxurious white blooms arranged in a naturally gathered style that felt refined, romantic, and effortlessly timeless.

Designing Anne and Jake's wedding was a celebration of enduring style—proof that a thoughtfully curated blue and white palette never loses its appeal. From a meaningful church ceremony to a joyful reception filled with family and friends, every floral detail was designed to honor the beauty of a classic wedding with a fresh perspective.
